We kicked off the game knowing our opponents would be below our standard. We started the game off well with many attacking forces leading to our first goal when Frankie danced his way through lost defenders (my goat) and sent a lovely finish into the bottom corner. Our passion continued with Harry thinking he is at a slip n slide spending most of the game on the floor. We were rewarded with a goal from the debutant Tenzin (or Saka regen if u like) with a good finish into the corner. Next, Aggro Flocc delivered a delicious cross into fra and Alec waiting. Alec scored with a lovely leaping header, which was followed by fra trying to claim he had just scored a bicycle kick because he has a grand total of 0 goals so far this season (jk ml). The half time whistle went and Solly and Tommy were displeased with the messy football. We were told to pack it in and play 2 touch football. We came out in the second half very wet from the rain but still excited to score more goals. This excitement was shown through Frankie getting another cheeky goal and slotting it in. This was followed by Massimo Marchi, the Italian stallion, flying past two players and thundering one from 30 yards into the top bins, which was followed by a very bov celebration, implying he does this every week (definitely). However, due to a lapse in concentration (100% not his fault) the opposition team was able to intercept and finish one into the corner (saveable in my book). But our heads stayed high and we were determined to keep trying. Then the opposition gave away a corner and Frankie was taking it. Frankie crossed the ball in and Harry directed it in with a lovely header. Shortly after this Alec played an exquisite ball into clem making a good run, who then took it round the keeper and let the ball roll in (very saucy). To finish off the game, Tenzin got his brace when he took advantage of a loose ball on a corner and smashed one in. Overall a very solid game from the boys who hope to keep up the winning streak on Saturday. UP THE PURPS!!!
