We started the game with complacency due to a 10 day half term and lack of training. Despite this, the match was fairly equal with Hugh being a nightmare for defenders at the back and fras cool head in midfield with gully locking up the no. 9. As the match progressed we began to get pressed high and we began to lose the ball. This led to conceding from inside the box. As we began the second half we began to pickup some urgency and shifted the dynamic of the game as we began to attack. Some superb stop from the opposition no. 1 meant that we stayed 1-0 down. As we edged towards the 60th minute we stuck Oscar up top for some extra attacking power. This led to an immediate impact as he headed round the keeper for a tap in 1-1. Around 10 minutes later however we conceded from a penalty as a late challenge was made in our box. This put us 2-1 down. They began to pile on pressure for the 3rd and the win as Archie made a smart stop down to his right which then led to a goal kick. This goal kick was played upfield and then the ball found itself bouncing over the last man with Oscar tearing towards it. This led to the defender having no chance but to bring him down. Last play of the game, 2-1 down. This led to solly making a game changing decision of placing the keeper in the box. Mass stepped up to the free kick on the edge of the box. A whipped right foot cross whipped in past the ASL defenders onto the right boot of the Harrodian gk. 2-2. This was the last play of this thrilling game which allowed our unbeaten streak to stretch to 8-0. Goals from Oscar Warneryd and Archie whiting. Great performances all round from the boys but hard work necessary for the next game.
